Speaker Bio:

A Founding Principal of PCG, Mr. Neuss is jointly responsible for the overall management and investment activities of the firm, overseeing both PCG’s land planning and development business unit as well as the venture investment business unit. He is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and Investment Committee. In addition, Neuss conceived and led the development of highly innovative real estate market analysis systems used both in developing a real estate investment strategy and in assessing individual housing and land venture opportunities.

Widely recognized as the most advanced market analysis methodologies being applied in today’s residential real estate sector, Neuss’ groundbreaking work in this arena led to his authorship of a number of articles and studies on the behavior of California’s housing market and economy through the real estate cycles of the 1980’s, 1990’s, and 2000’s. This work also predicted and explained the unusual strength and durability of U.S. housing markets through the 2000-2005 period.

Carl Neuss has served as a Member of the Policy Advisory Board for the Harvard University Center of Housing Studies and is a Member of the Cornell University Real Estate Council and the Cornell Program in Real Estate Advisory Board. Neuss is a Registered Professional Civil Engineer and has earned credentials as a Registered Investment Advisor.
Presently Mr. Neuss is a guest lecturer at Cornell, teaching an interdisciplinary course on Real Estate negotiation techniques and practices.
