Saturday,June 15th from 1:00-4:00 p.m.  Volunteers help with tasks such as labeling manufacturer donations, food sorting, food packaging, produce sorting, and other tasks that facilitate the process of getting donated food from the receiving area to the member agencies.

So CORNELLIANS, sign up, come out, mingle with fellow students and alumni, and let's get the food to where it needs to go!
(Family and friends are welcome.) Kids must be at least 14 years old.
It may get hot in the warehouse. Wear sneakers or other shoes that cover the toes to protect them. Eat prior to coming;)

Cornellian KAYAK/STAND-UP PADDLEBOARD in the BACK BAY

As the largest remaining estuary in Southern California, the Upper Newport Bay Ecological Preserve provides the ideal setting for a leisurely paddle. It is home to countless birds, fish, and other wildlife, and the best way to experience it all is from the surface of the calm, glassy water. So come join us as we do exactly that on the first Saturday of summer!

The Newport Aquatic Center sits on a shore of the bay and offers hourly kayak and stand-up paddleboard rentals. Look for us there under a canopy in the sand. Gather family and friends, RSVP with Elle Erpenbeck ( This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ), and get ready for an outdoor adventure with fellow Cornellians!

Start Time: Arrive at the Newport Aquatic Center (NAC) by 9 am. That should give us enough time to rent equipment and get out on the water by 9:30.

Meeting Location: Look for the Cornell canopy on the public beach in front of the gravel parking lot. Come say hi and then, if you need to rent equipment, head to the NAC building.

Duration: Approximately 2.5-3 hours

See you there!!
