CAAOC Business Luncheon - The Honda Center Story: Changing the Arena Dining and The Building of an In-House Food and Beverage Company

We are privileged to have as our guest speaker Cornellian Julie Margolin, Director of Food and Beverage, Honda Center Anaheim, CA - Cornell UniversitySchool of Hotel Administration.

Our next speaker has quite the experience when it comes to applying her excellent organizational skills to a challenging position as the Director of Food and Beverage operations at the Honda Center. She transformed the Honda Center from a multi-vendor venue that offered subpar quality and expensive food and drinks to a "made in-house," fully controlled environment offering a variety of quality food and beverage options with many gourmet choices to the Center's 17,000 spectators. Her fascinating story will walk us through how she took on such a colossal task and created a successful in-house Food & Beverage operation in the Honda Center in a relatively short time span. Julie will also describe what it takes to run the day-to-day operations with a staff of more than 1,000.

International Spirit of Zinck's Night 2015

Join us at Zinck’s tonight, Thursday, October 15!

Lift the chorus, speed it onward,
Loud her praises tell;
Hail to thee, our Alma Mater!
Hail, all hail, Cornell!

Members of CAAOC, it is almost time for the biggest night for Cornellians everywhere, Zinck’s Night! Come join us on October 15th as we remember our day’s at Cornell. Last year, Cornell alumni organized over 90 celebrations around the world.

Zinck's Night has become much more than a time to trade treasured tales about a cramped bar, a colorful barkeep, and a catchy tune ("We'll all have drinks / At Theodore Zinck's / When I get back next fall!"). It's an occasion dedicated to celebrating Cornell University, no matter where you may be. Come be a part of tradition as we raise our glasses and toast our alma mater!

As usual, friends and family of Cornellians are welcome to join us. Zinck’s Night is always a great time and is usually one of our best turnouts for the year - we hope to see you there!

Come enjoy the company of fellow alumni!
