CAAOC FOOD CARAVAN EVENT #2 October 19th!!!

What: Learning how to cook Spanish meal, including tapa and Paella from a private chef!

Chef Rick of the ex: Black Sheep restaurant has agreed to teach us how to make these delicious cuisines.  This is a very special event and limited in spots.  Please RSVP asap.  (8-12 spots only) First, limited to paid members of CAAOC; if you want to bring someone, let me know via email and as it gets closer, I will let you know if space is available to bring them. Cost is $50 per person for members and $65 for non-members; that includes Chef Rick bringing all the equipment, all the ingredients, and of course the lesson.

Time:  10:00 am Sharp to 1:30 pm

Join us at for an evening of beer guzzling fun.   Alex Puchner ’83, Senior Vice President of Brewing Operations at BJ’s Restaurants, has graciously offered to conduct a beer tasting and tour at one of his breweries located at the BJ’s in Laguna Hills.  We will learn a little bit of the history and traditions of ales and lagers, what ingredients go into making them, and then try out all of the varieties which are hand crafted by BJ’s brewmeisters, along with generous servings of BJ’s famous pizzas.  Enjoy samples of a dozen of BJ’s handcrafted ales and exotic imported beers in a variety of beer styles.  You can sign up for this event at the Eventbrite website using the following link:
